What is an external browser? |
| A: |
If you connect to the web using AOL and then within AOL type in a URL to go to a website you are using an AOL integrated web browser. This is AOL's own browser if you like. Unfortunately, it does not work well with our web site.
All Microsoft (MS) Windows operating systems come with MS Internet Explorer included in the software. MS Internet Explorer is what we refer to when we suggest opening an external browser.
Once you have logged on to AOL, minimize AOL and click on START --> Programs ---> Internet Explorer. A new browser window should open and you can then type in the URL for www.globetrekker.com to login.
This isse with AOL and MSN Hotmail is under review. We hope to resolve our web site issues with these products soon. In the meantime you may have to open an external browser for the site to operate correctly, as we have suggested. |

How do I change my username? |

Once logged in you can change your details including your username in the section called [My Account]. Just click on [my account] and click on [change username]. If the new username that you entered is available it will be accepted. |
