I liked it immensely; and even though online reviews tend towards hyperbole, I'll still say this video is outstanding. It is carefully crafted: sound, narration, interviews, computer animation and stellar photography are all smoothly mixed to convey the natural majesty of the subject without taking away from the substance of the discussion. Current in 1998, it includes some of the astrophysical progress of recent years.

It's a release for the general public, but should be entertaining to academic and professional audiences as well.

It's a "firestarter": it fires the imagination of beginner and expert alike. Recommended.
